January | Prof. Nakasuka's project ""New Paradigm of Space Development and Utilization by Nano-satellite" started. This project was one of the FIRST program funded by the Cabinet Office of Japan. Prof. Miyazaki participated in this project as a sub-theme leader and a co-researcher. The sub-theme was "Research on advanced design and component technology of nano-satellite". The research theme was "Research and development of deployable structure". ( - end of 2013).

Apr. 28 | Our second satellite "SEEDS-II" (sometimes called SEEDS) was launched by PSLV-C9 rocket from Satish Dawan Space Center in India. The satellite was injected into a sun-synchronous orbit with about 630km altitude. SEEDS-II has been operated well. |
