MIYAZAKI Yasuyuki
Last updated: April 20, 2025

Yasuyuki Miyazaki has been researching on the structure-preserving numerical method of Gossamer Multibody Dynamics, prediction of large overall motion of gossamer structure such as deployment of folded thin membrane, feature extraction of the motion, and the desgin of gossamer structure. He has validated his theory and numerical simulation by the experiments under 1G environment and micro-gravity environment in a airplane. He also verified his research in several space missions.

He arrived to JAXA/ISAS in October 2020. He is participating the fundomental research in ISAS, the working group activities on future mission, and space science/explorer projects in ISAS. This web page will introduce his recent research briefly after his arrival to ISAS as well as improving his former research.
