The research topic "Construction of Analysis and Design Theory for High Precision Gossamer Space Structure Systems and Its Experimental Verification" is adopted for Japanese Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A). Miyazaki is the principal investigator, and the co-investigators are Satou, Prof. Keiichi Okuyama in Nihon University, and Prof. Shoko Arita in Shizuoka University. We aim for clarifying the method to guarantee and improve the accuracy of gossamer structure, and also for clarifying the configuration of space structure that satisfies the requirement for lightweight, deployability, storability, shape accuracy, and shape stability. |
