HOW TO JOIN US

There are three ways to research as a student in our laboratory. Please feel free to ask for more information about the graduate research by e-mail (miyazaki.yasuyuki (at) jaxa.jp).

1. 
Graduate student of SOKENDAI, Graduate Institute for Advanced Studies, Course for Space and stronautical Science

You can enter five year's PhD course just after you will graduate your university, or three year's phD course after you will gradute the master couse of the other university.

Please note that our laboratory accept the graduate students who aim to get PhD degree.

2. 

If you are a graduate student of SOKENDAI, The University of Tokyo, or the universities that are the partner of JAXA's Cooperative Graduate School System, and your supervisor and our laboratory have research collaboration, our laboratory can accept you and help your graduate research.

This program is based on JAXA's Commissioned Guidance Student System. If you are a Master course student, you can join our laboratory for up to 1 year. If you are a PhD course student, there is no maximum period.

3. 

If you are a fourth year undergraduate student and hope to get various knowledge and skill about the research and development in JAXA, you can join our laboratory as a "practicaltraining student".

This program is based on JAXA's Student Practical Training System. You can study in ISAS for up to 120 days in a year. Our laboratory accepts the students if they intend to go to graduate school and research in our laboratory after you study as the "practical training student".
