Plasma sail Experimental System

This is a middle-class space chamber of our lab., which is 2-m in diamter and 3-m in length. It is used for a variety of electric and advanced propulsion experiment. It can be used as Magnetoplasmadynamic plasma wind tunnel.

Space Science Chamber (Inter-University Facility at ISAS)

This vacuum chamber is one of ISAS's inter-university research facility. The dimension is 2.5-m in diameter and 5 m in length, and our laboratory used this chamber for plasma sail experiments.

Electromagnetic Plasma Thruster Experimental System (Magnetized Plasma Chamber)

This vacuum chamber is one of ISAS's inter-university research facility. The dimension is 0.8-m in diameter and 5 m in length, and electromagnets, as well as RF power supply units are equipped. Our laboratory uses this chamber for the experiment of MPD and helicon thrusters.

Micro-thruster Experimental System

A small space chamber of our lab., which is 0.6-m in diamter and 1.5-m in length, is used for a variety of micro-thruster experiment. Several power supply as well as fiber laser unit, as well as thrust stand are equipped.
